Who we are
Red Square Flowers is an independent floral and botanical design studio in downtown Madison, Wisconsin, founded in 2012.
We create modern, artistic floral arrangements using seasonal flowers, unusual varieties and unexpected textures. Our approach is contemporary and design-led, with each arrangement created individually rather than reproduced from a standardized recipe.
Alongside fresh flowers, we offer distinctive houseplants, botanical gifts, wedding and event florals, corporate flowers, interior plant design and maintenance, moss walls and custom botanical installations.
We provide local flower delivery throughout Madison and surrounding communities within approximately 20 miles of downtown Madison, as well as store pickup from our Madison locations.
Our mission and philosophy
Our mission is to bring modern, earthy, minimalist design to your home and offer unique and thoughtful experience. We do not work with any national wire service companies which help us to stay loyal to our local market, as well as to control our quality and meticulous attention to detail . We are proud to introduce Madison to a fresh, outside of the box concept that blends modern trends with the traditions of the old world.
Everything we do is set to the highest and finest quality and service standards. Every detail matters as a principal rule at Red Square Flowers. Our moto: when unique and thoughtful matters, says it all.
About the owner
Red Square Flowers owner Alina Poletskova grew up surrounded by flowers, gardens and hands-on growing traditions. Her early connection to plants and natural materials eventually became the foundation for her approach to floral and botanical design.
With a background in mechanical engineering and time spent living in the Netherlands, Alina developed a strong appreciation for structure, proportion, European design and the relationship between plants, architecture and interior spaces.
That perspective shapes Red Square Flowers today. The studio focuses on modern floral design, distinctive plants, unusual textures and thoughtful botanical compositions that feel personal rather than mass-produced.
For Alina, flowers and plants are more than decoration. They are a way to bring nature, beauty and a sense of place into homes, businesses, celebrations and everyday life.
